The short history of osmethne
Welcome to osmethne! You might be wondering what osmethne is exactly. Osmethne was originally just a bad misspelling of “something”. It first started gaining recognition and popuarity on the VNBoards for the MMORPG of Asheron's Call. One day someone made a post on thier server fourm about their patron in the game. The original post is either deleted or hidding in some archive but the following is the text from that post.
i have the damn ass patron he sucks his name is Zell Dencht im one of his vassels io wotn sya name so he sucks and lies and his a asshole he says osmethne and then doesnt do it and got lame ass vassels im the only one who isnt lame in that his allegince of his it sucsk and he sucks again his name is zell dencht no one swear to him.
This post became known as the OSMETHNE post. Osmethne has since evolved into a word that describes a post, website, email, etc that is “messed up” or something so dumb it is funny. Here on osmethne.com I want to make an archive that people can come to and find osmethne or evn add their own osmethne so other users can share in the joy of osmethne.
